Participate in Tormek's Art Exhibition 2026
We are hosting our fourth annual art exhibition at the Tormek HQ in Lindesberg, Sweden. This year, we are inviting edge tool making brands (whose tools can be shapened on a Tormek) to participate, and to highlight the work of one of their ambassadors and the tools they use to create (the tools you manufacture). We’d be absolutely delighted to have you as a part of our exhibition this year!
About the Exhibition
The exhibition is called Behind the Edge – The Talent, The Tools & The Exceptional Outcome and highlights three key elements:
- The Talent – the person behind the craft and knowledge, experience, and creativity (your ambassador).
- The Tools – the premium instruments that enable precision and performance (your edge tools).
- The Exceptional Outcome – the final result: beautiful, functional, and inspiring work made possible through sharpness and skill (your ambassador's work piece).
What You Need To Do
Participating tool brands each are responsible to choose one ambassador (artist/maker) who has created/creates a visually outstanding piece, while your tools that they use (and perhaps sharpens on a Tormek?) are showcased as an important – but not central – part of the story, as the enabler of great art. To participate, fill in the form below.
When You Need To Do It
Important dates:
February 28: Last date to send in the participation form below
March 15: Confirm Grand Opening attendance to your Tormek contact
April 30: Submit texts/materials
May 22: Artpiece must have arrived at Tormek
